The decision to divorce is not an easy one. There are long lasting ramifications to that decision. Just as there are no automatic formulas for deciding whether or not to divorce, there are no automatic formulas for how to handle a divorce.   Every situation is different.  Our office is committed to supporting families, parents, and children who are part of a divorce or custody proceeding. Our strong network of professionals in and outside the legal community allows us to provide a comprehensive approach to your family law issues. We approach divorce and child custody matters with knowledge, experience and an aggressive and proactive style. We believe in reasonableness and cooperation, and utilize all appropriate avenues to bring family law matters to successful resolution.

Mediation and other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes provide an option for those who prefer to stay out of court. ADR provides many potential advantages for most cases, including reduced cost, faster resolution, less emotional stress and the ability to construct solutions that are outside of the authority of the courts. We have expertise in determining when a form of ADR is in your best interest and will clearly advise you of your options.

We know that the emotional and financial toll these matters can take on our clients can be greatly reduced by settlement.  However, settlement will not always serve our clients’ best interests or may not be possible, and in those cases, we will aggressively represent our clients at trial. Our focus is getting the best result for our clients in view of all the circumstances.

If you do not see the particular kind of case you believe you have listed here, please call or email us, and if we cannot help you, we can refer you to an attorney who can.

We are available for consultation by previous arrangement and can handle consultations by phone for out-of-town clients.
